Manchester United officially signed footballer Odion Ighalo, on loan from the Chinese Shanghai Senhua until the end of the season, without specifying whether there is an option to buy the Nigerian striker, Bruno Fernandes’ new partner in the ‘red devils’.
“Odion is an experienced player. It comes to give us a different option while advancing during the short time that will be here. A good and very professional guy, he will enjoy the time he will be here ”, said the coach, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, in statements to the official website of the English Premier League football club.
At the age of 30, Ighalo completes the move to the dream club and a ‘big’ of the English League, after his stint at Watford, for whom he played 100 times and scored 40 goals, convincing Changchun Yatai’s Chinese leaders to spend around € 23 million to hire him in 2017.
Two years later, he was hired by Shanghai Senhua and now arrives in Manchester, where he will meet the Portuguese Bruno Fernandes and Diogo Dalot.
