The seventh round of the return of the Women’s Superliga was special for the teams from Minas Gerais. Praia Clube won a straight duel with Sesc-RJ, by 3 sets to 1 (33/31, 17/25, 16/25 and 29/31), in Rio de Janeiro, and maintained the lead in the lead. Minas, who passed through So Paulo Barueri at home 3-0 (25/21, 25/19 and 25/17), took second place.

Praia reached 50 points and took the lead in another round. At the same time, the Uberlndia club helped Minas, which took advantage of Sesc-RJ’s defeat to reach second place, with 48, three more than coach Bernardinho’s team, now in third position.

The Minas Gerais representatives will take a break in the Super League and focus on the South American Women, starting next Monday, at Arena Sabiazinho, in Uberlndia. In addition to Praia e Minas, Boca Juniors, San Lorenzo and Universidad Catlica Boliviana will compete in the tournament, which will have the final on Saturday, the 22nd.

The South American will start with the miners on the court next Monday. Praia debut in front of Universidad Catlica (BOL), at 19h. Then, at 8:30 pm, Minas face Boca Juniors.
