This Friday (14), Valinhos will host the regional stage of the 16th edition of the Casa de Futebol Cup. The event is sponsored by Fundação Casa (Center for Social and Educational Assistance to Adolescents).
On the field, youngsters from Casas Jequitibá and Maestro Carlos Gomes, located in Campinas, play; Piracicaba River, in Piracicaba and Morro Azul, in Limeira. The winning team will represent the regional team in the state stage of the tournament.
The Casa Cup is a field soccer championship promoted by the Casa Foundation and disputed by teenagers who fulfill a socio-educational measure of internment in their centers in the State of São Paulo.
The competition will be divided into two phases. The first is the regional stage. During this phase, the games take place between the teams of the socio-educational centers of the 11 Regional Divisions, which are spread throughout the State of São Paulo.
The second phase, the most awaited by athletes, is the one in which the Foundation has the collaboration of the São Paulo Football Federation, with the realization of decisive qualifying matches in the preliminaries of official matches held by the Federation. The games will be played on dates and stages to be defined by the FPF.
