The second season of The Witcher got a date to be filmed again. The official profile of the series in Twitter announced that the recordings will return in August 17.
The series, as well as many other titles, had its footage affected by the coronavirus pandemic. However, it seems that the situation is beginning to return to normal in some places, such as New Zealand, the American city of Los Angeles and also the UK, where The Witcher it’s round. The film sets, however, will have to adapt to a series of preventive measures.
The first season of The Witcher is available on Netflix. The second year is expected to reach the streaming in 2021. Henry Cavill, Anya Chalotra, Freya Allan and Joey Batey return to the main roles of Geralt, Yennefer, Ciri and Jaskier.
Among the newcomers are confirmed Kim Bodnia (Killing Eve) like Vasemir, Kristofer Hivju (game of Thrones) like Nivellen. Yasen Atour (Dark Heart), Paul Bullion (Peaky Blinders) and Thue Ersted Rasmussen (Fast & Furious 9) will be the wizards Coën, Lambert and Eskel. Aisha Febienne Ross (The Danish girl) will be the magician Lydia and the British model Mecia Simson, the elf mage Francesca.
