Until today, June 30, on the Romanian territory, they were confirmed 26,970 cases of infected people with the new coronavirus (COVID-19). Among the people confirmed positive, 20,141 were discharged, of which 19,050 patients cured and 1,091 asymptomatic patients discharged 10 days after detection.

Until today, 1,651 people diagnosed with COVID-19 infection died.

Between 29.06.2020 (10:00) – 30.06.2020 (10:00) were registered 17 deaths (12 men and 5 women), of some patients infected with the new coronavirus, hospitalized in Argeș, Bistrița-Năsăud, Cluj, Harghita, Bucharest, Neamț, Prahova, Suceava, Teleorman and Vrancea.

Of these, 1 death was recorded in the age group 50-59 years, 4 deaths in the age category 60-69 years, 9 deaths in the age category 70-79 years and 3 deaths in people over 80 years.

16 of the deaths were of patients who had comorbidities. No comorbidities were reported for 1 death.

Since the last information sent by the Strategic Communication Group, others have been registered 388 new cases of illness.

At the moment, 205 patients are hospitalized at ATI.

On the Romanian territory, there are 890 people in institutionalized quarantine. Another 61,840 people are in solitary confinement at home and are under medical supervision.

To date, at national level, they have been processed 710,112 tests.

In the last 24 hours, 453 calls were registered to the unique emergency number 112 and 1,710 to the TELVERDE line (0800 800 358), open especially for informing citizens.

As a result of the violation of the provisions of Law no. 55 of 15.05.2020 regarding some measures for preventing and combating the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the police and gendarmes applied, in the last 24 hours, 388 sanctions for minor offenses, amounting to 293,000 lei.

Also, through the competent structures of the Police, a crime was found yesterday to thwart the fight against diseases, a deed provided and punished by art. 352 Penal Code.

At the same time, on June 29 a.c., 28 persons who did not comply with the measure of home isolation or quarantine were placed in institutionalized quarantine for 14 days or the measure of institutionalized quarantine was ordered for a new period of 14 days.

Regarding the situation of Romanian citizens in other states, 4,795 Romanian citizens were confirmed as infected with COVID-19 (coronavirus): 1,885 in Italy, 561 in Spain, 107 in France, 2,075 in Germany, 97 in the United Kingdom , 28 in the Netherlands, 2 in Namibia, 3 in the USA, 6 in Austria, 3 in Belgium, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 2 in Switzerland, 2 in Turkey, 2 in Iceland, 2 in Belarus and one each in Argentina, Tunisia, Ireland, Luxembourg, the United Arab Emirates, Malta, Brazil, India, Bulgaria, Kazakhstan, Ukraine and Sweden. Since the beginning of the COVID-19 (coronavirus) epidemic and until now, 115 Romanian citizens abroad, 31 in Italy, 19 in France, 43 in Great Britain, 9 in Spain, 7 in Germany, 2 in Belgium, one in Sweden, one in Switzerland, one in the USA and one in Brazil, they died.

Of the Romanian citizens confirmed with the new coronavirus, 72 were declared cured: 50 in Germany, 10 in France, 6 in Japan, 2 in Indonesia, 2 in Namibia, one in Luxembourg and one in Tunisia.

Note: these data are obtained by the Romanian diplomatic missions and consular offices abroad, either from the competent authorities of the states of residence, insofar as these data are subject to public communication, or directly from Romanian citizens abroad.

The TELVERDE number is not an emergency number, it is a telephone line strictly assigned for informing citizens and is valid for national calls, from Monday to Friday, between 08.00 and 20.00. Also, Romanians abroad can request information about preventing and combating the virus at the line specially dedicated to them, +4021.320.20.20.

Other decisions, as well as other data of interest, will be made known to the public as soon as possible.
