The Romanian Football Federation proposes huge fines for the clubs where coronavirus cases will be detected.
After the first cases of coronavirus appeared in League 1, at Dinamo and Botosani 24 hours before the resumption of the championship, FRF wants to impose drastic measures for the clubs that will have people found positive.
According to the Sports Gazette, the Federation is proposing huge fines for football clubs and would put pressure on the LPF to accept the changes to the regulations, despite the fact that League officials are trying to maintain their position.
The fine protocol proposed by the FRF would be as follows:
– any violation to entail a sports penalty between 15,000 and 500,000 lei
– any subsequent violation is sanctioned with the application of penalties 50% higher than the first fine
– in case of an outbreak of infection, the club would be sanctioned with a penalty whose amount would be 600,000 lei
