According to the Unimed Assis Care and Health Care Center Manager, Tatiana Gomes Funari, the beneficiary must be symptomatic, that is, diagnosed by a doctor and referred for examination.
The serological examination detects the presence of antibodies (IgA, IgG or IgM) produced by the organism after exposure to the virus that causes Covid-19.
“According to ANS, the rapid test will have the coverage of the health plan in cases where the patient has or has had symptoms consistent with the flu syndrome or the severe acute respiratory syndrome”, explains Tatiana.
