The National Association of Public Health Doctors (ANMSP) warns of the importance of the Portuguese not failing to vaccinate their children.

Last week, according to Jornal de Notícias, health centers recorded a sharp drop in the number of vaccines administered, for fear of contagion by Covid-19.

ANSP president Ricardo Mexia recalls that for Covid-19 there is still no vaccine, but there are other diseases that can be prevented with vaccination, such as measles.

“It is essential that everyone complies with what is advocated in the National Vaccination Program”, he stresses.

The president of the National Association of Public Health Doctors defends the importance of communication with health centers.

This week the Directorate-General for Health warned of the importance of vaccination, especially for children up to 12 months and pregnant women.
