Amid the crisis generated by the Covid-19 pandemic, which affects Brazil and the world, several automakers are taking steps to minimize the impact on their customers. Among warranty extension and revision deadlines, one act stands out, that of Ford.
The American automaker decided that customers who have direct financing from the automaker, through Ford Credit, will be able to transfer up to three installments of the contract. The amounts will be incorporated into the financing, and contracts with maturity as of March 31 may participate.
According to the brand, to be able to this condition, it is not necessary to make any type of proof related to health or income, just be up to date with payments. In addition, both individual and corporate customers can claim the benefit.
“This decision is part of our commitment to customers, seeking the best way to help them overcome difficulties at a time when they need it most,” says José Netto, executive director of Ford Credit Brasil. According to the executive, the benefit is a way of providing important relief for the crossing of this critical period.
Customers who wish to join should contact the Ford Credit Service Center by calling 4004-4581 (capitals and metropolitan areas) or 0800 722-4581 (other locations) and expressing their intention. Once this is done, the client will receive a proposal to renegotiate its financing.
Deferred payments will be adjusted based on market interest and diluted in the contract installments, which also contributes to facilitate the client’s financial planning. The Ford Credit Program, Ford’s financial arm, is operated by Banco Bradesco Financiamentos S.A.
