Volkswagen do Brasil announces the extension of the suspension of production in all four plants in the country (São Bernardo do Campo / SP, Taubaté / SP, São Carlos / SP and São José dos Pinhais / PR) until the end of April, due to the impacts of COVID-19.
From that date, production will be resumed according to the supply chain and logistics schedule of each factory. During this period, employees will be on collective vacation, a measure that is part of the flexibility tools provided for in the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

To help combat COVID-19, Volkswagen do Brasil is donating two thousand 3M PFF-2 (S) face masks to the four cities where it maintains its manufacturing operations: São Bernardo do Campo / SP, Taubaté / SP, São Carlos / SP and São José dos Pinhais / PR. The manufacturer also offers a fleet of 100 vehicles of the brand for use by the City Halls of the respective cities where it maintains its manufacturing operations.
