Jorge Costa will succeed Sérgio Vieira in the technical command of Farense, Morefootball.
The agreement for the 49-year-old to take charge of the Algarve emblem, currently 18th and last placed in the 1st league – albeit with one game less – was reached this Sunday.
The coach, who is at the service of Gaz Metan, is hitting the unbundling of the Romanian emblem, which he guided on Saturday, in the home draw to a ball against Clinceni, in game of the 20th round.
Jorge Costa, found our newspaper, will also take with him, on this return to Portugal, the Portuguese technical team with whom he worked at Gaz Metan.
In September, Jorge Costa and his deputy, Marco Leite, signed for two years for Gaz Metan, but the link with the current ninth place in the Romanian first league will end early.
The agreement should be made official in the next hours or days, as well as the presentation of the new technical team in Faro.
Jorge Costa started his coaching career at Sporting de Braga, in the 2006/2007 season. He then passed by Olhanense, Académica, Paços de Ferreira and Arouca, in Portugal. Abroad, he coached Cluj and Gaz Metan in Romania, AEL Limassol and Anorthosis in Cyprus, CS Sfaxien from Tunisia, Tours in France, Mumbai City in India and the Gabon national team.
