Not everything is rosy when it comes to the smartphone division of LG. But that hasn’t stopped the manufacturer from continually launching innovative phones with intriguing designs like the Lg wing.
The South Korean brand is even aimed at launching a scrollable smartphone called LG Rollable coming soon. However, these plans have apparently been suspended recently, since the LG Electronics has been the subject of rumors about the departure of the smartphone business.
However, in the midst of all this chaos and speculation, the truth is that the smartphone division of LG continued to work hard to provide the latest updates to its equipment line as quickly as possible. Or at least you’re trying.
That said, the latest development with regard to software updates is related to one of its most recent offerings – the LG Velvet – which has now started to receive the update Android 11 based on LG UX 10 in Korea. According to a post on Reddit.

As we can see in the image above, the update is about 2251 MB in size and will most likely have the January 2021 security patch. In addition, although your log did not mention much beyond a single line which mentions “Android system update”, you can still expect a host of new features. After all, it’s an entirely new operating system update.
This update comes just a month after information about your beta testing program. Again, as noted above, the Android 11 to LG Velvet seems to have been launched only in South Korea for now. But, since it has already been launched, we can expect it to be sent to other regions soon as well. LG continues to strive to release its updates for existing models on the market.
