As they lost the final at Maracanã by 1 to 0 last Saturday, Alvinegro needs to recover in the Brasileirão to be among those classified in the continental competition.
Santos is currently in 10th place, with 45 points. The first in the G-6 is Grêmio, with 51, but the classification zone can become G-8 depending on the placement of Palmeiras and Grêmio and the final of the Brazil Cup between the teams.
