Tallest in the world, co Freddy dies at 8 – International

Title holder co live more alto the world, the dogue alemo freddy died at 8, on Wednesday (1/27). The animal measured 103.5 cm from the paw high up the back. When standing on the hind legs – a measure that is not considered by the Guinness World Records -, it reached an impressive 2.26m.

THE dog lived in the city of Essex, England, with his tutor, Claire Stoneman. Freddy was recognized by Guinness in 2016. The news of the death was released by the Record Book itself.

The official page of the publication, Claire said she was devastated. “He was not only the tallest dog, but the dog with the most love and the biggest heart,” he said. “He was my life, my reason, my joy. My happiness and my final sadness. He was my heart. My one in a corn, loved by everyone,” he added.

Interestingly, the guardian said that Freddy was the smallest of his litter and that he was even taken home sooner than he should have because he did not want to feed on his mother: “I had no idea he was going to be this big”.

According to Guinness, the tallest dog in history was Zeus, from Michigan, in the United States. He measured 111.8 cm from his paw to his back.
